Returns & Refund Policy
At DalyMountain, every cardigan and sweater is knitted by hand and made to order. We want you to be genuinely happy with your piece, so please read this policy carefully before purchasing.
When We Offer an Exchange or Refund
We are happy to arrange an exchange or refund in the following cases:
- Sizing error on our side. If the actual measurements of the piece you received do not match the size chart listed on the product page (chest, length, sleeve, etc.), we will replace it or issue a full refund.
- Product defect. Visible flaws such as broken stitches, damaged zippers or buttons, holes, or manufacturing faults are covered — please reach out with photos and we will make it right.
- Wrong item shipped. If you received a different color, style, or size than what you ordered, we will cover the return and send the correct item.
What We Cannot Accept
Because every piece is hand-knitted for you, we are unable to offer returns or refunds in these situations:
- Fit preference. "Too loose" or "too tight" complaints when the measurements match the size chart. Please double-check your body measurements against our size chart before ordering — we are always happy to advise you before purchase.
- Change of mind or style. Requests such as wanting a different color, pattern, or style after the piece has been made are not eligible for return.
- Custom or personalised orders that were made to your specific measurements or requests.
- Items damaged by improper washing or wear (please follow the care instructions).
How to Request an Exchange or Refund
- Contact us at dalymountainknits@gmail.com within 14 days of delivery.
- Include your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos of the piece (including a photo of the measurements taken with a tape measure if the concern is sizing).
- We will respond within 2 business days with next steps.
Return Shipping
- If the return is due to our error (sizing mismatch, defect, or wrong item), we cover the return shipping cost.
- For any accepted return that is not our error, the customer is responsible for return shipping.
- Items must be returned unworn, unwashed, and in original condition with any tags attached.
Refund Processing
Once we receive and inspect the returned item, refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days. Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

We want you to love your cardigan — so if you are unsure about sizing or have any questions, please message us before placing the order. We are happy to help you pick the right size and answer anything about the piece.
