Care Instructions
A well-cared-for wool cardigan can last decades. Treat it kindly and it will keep you warm for years.
Washing
- Hand wash only in cold water. Use a small amount of wool-safe detergent.
- Soak gently — never wring, twist, or scrub.
- Rinse with cold water until the water runs clear.
Drying
- Press out excess water between clean towels. Never wring.
- Lay flat to dry on a clean towel, shaping the cardigan back to its original size.
- Do not hang wet — wool stretches.
- Avoid direct sunlight and radiators.
Storage
- Fold and store flat — never hang for long periods.
- Use cedar wood or lavender sachets to protect against moths.
- Air the cardigan between wears.
Pilling
Some pilling is natural with wool. Gently brush with a wool comb or sweater stone after a few wears. It does not affect durability.
